Vantage Data Centers is constructing a $15 billion data center campus for Oracle and OpenAI in Port Washington, Wisconsin. The initial campus will cover 700 acres and consist of four buildings, creating approximately 1,000 permanent jobs.

The construction site is active with around 700 workers and operates nearly around the clock since breaking ground in mid-December. Public concerns include property tax impacts, construction traffic, and local utility costs, leading to legal disputes over funding and approval processes. Steel beams are expected on site next week to advance construction.
