Vantage Towers and Gridle have formed a collaboration to enhance the resilience and sustainability of telecom infrastructure in Spain. This initiative will establish a virtual power plant at selected radio base station sites, where Gridle's AI technology will optimize Vantage Towers' battery systems.

This partnership aims to ensure service continuity during power disruptions, following lessons learned from a blackout in Spain and Portugal. Gridle, previously used in Finland and Estonia, optimizes battery management to reduce costs and emissions. Vantage Towers operates with 100% renewable energy and is piloting green energy solutions such as solar panels and hydrogen systems, aligning with its sustainability goals.
