Veidekke to Install 15 km Wastewater Pipeline for MOVAR in Moss, Norway

WATER INFRASTRUCTURE & DESALINATION

Veidekke's subsidiary Leif Grimsrud AS has contracted with MOVAR IKS to construct a 15-kilometre wastewater pipeline for the Fuglevik Wastewater Treatment Plant in Moss, valued at NOK 205 million. The project involves both land and sea installation, running from Brevik through Kambo to the treatment plant.

The pipeline will pass through Moss Sound, cross existing infrastructure, and extend to Værlebukta. An outfall pipeline will also be installed to a depth of 50 metres. This initiative is part of the 'Cleaner Oslofjord' project aimed at improving the fjord's environmental quality.

The new treatment plant will handle 1.5 billion litres of wastewater from the Moss Sound. This contract will be reflected in Veidekke's order book for Q4 2025.
