Velo3D Secures $9.8 Million Defense Logistics Agency Contract
Velo3D has been awarded a $9.8 million, five-year contract from the Department of War to support the Defense Logistics Agency's initiative for additive manufacturing. This contract will enhance the production of complex components, addressing supply chain constraints and improving military readiness.

Velo3D, Inc. has secured a $9.8 million Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) for a five-year period. The contract supports the Joint Additive Manufacturing Acceptability (JAMA) Pilot Parts Program, which aims to accelerate the adoption of additively manufactured components across military operations.
This initiative will establish procurement pathways for spare and replacement parts, thereby strengthening supply chain resilience and improving response times. Velo3D will utilize its Laser Powder Bed Fusion technology and Rapid Production Solution to produce components that have previously faced delays and limited supplier options. The impact of this contract may enhance operational capabilities across the military branches, potentially reducing reliance on traditional manufacturing methods.
