Vena Energy Donates 1,000 Handcrafted Chairs to Schools on Talim Island, Enhancing Education and Local Livelihoods
Vena Energy, through its subsidiary Island Wind Energy Corp., donated 1,000 handcrafted chairs to elementary schools on Talim Island as part of its 'Seats for Sustainability' initiative. This project not only enhances the learning environment for students at Kasile, Bombong, Kinagatan, and Lambac Elementary Schools but also provides economic opportunities for local residents trained in carpentry. The initiative addresses infrastructure gaps in remote areas, ensuring access to quality furniture that meets educational standards.

On 27 January 2026, Vena Energy delivered 1,000 handcrafted armchairs to elementary schools in Binangonan and Cardona on Talim Island as part of its 'Seats for Sustainability' initiative. This project, led by Vena Energy's subsidiary Island Wind Energy Corp.
(IWEC), aims to enhance the learning environment for students while providing sustainable livelihoods for local residents. The donation, made on 22 and 23 January 2026, benefits Kasile Elementary School, Bombong Elementary School, Kinagatan Elementary School, and Lambac Elementary School.
Local community members, trained in carpentry by the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), manufactured the chairs, creating economic opportunities. The initiative addresses infrastructure gaps in remote areas, ensuring students have access to quality, DepEd-standard furniture.
