Venari Minerals Raises $6.1M for Red Mountain Lithium Project Development
Venari Minerals has secured $6.1 million in funding to advance its Red Mountain Lithium and Strategic Minerals Project. This capital is critical for expanding exploration and enhancing resource estimates, with the goal of completing a Scoping Study by Q1 CY27.

Venari Minerals (ASX: VMS) has raised $6.1 million through a two-tranche share placement and a convertible note to fund development at its Red Mountain Lithium and Strategic Minerals Project in Nevada. The funding consists of $4.75 million from the share placement and $1.35 million from an unsecured convertible note with an 8% annual interest rate.
The initial tranche of approximately $1.77 million is expected to settle by July, while the second tranche of $2.98 million requires shareholder approval on September 19. Proceeds will support drilling, resource upgrades, and metallurgical testing, with a Scoping Study planned for early 2027. The strong investor interest indicates confidence in the project's potential despite current market conditions.
