Veo Technologies is centralizing its AI development in a new data center to enhance its sports technology platform's speed, security, and scalability. The Danish company, known for its autonomous sports cameras, is investing significantly in infrastructure provided by Sentia and Dell Technologies.
The platform utilizes AI models to control camera functions, identify game events, track players, and recognize jersey numbers. With over 4 million recorded matches from 40,000 clubs in 116 countries, the demand for computing power has surged.
The new infrastructure will provide Veo with its own AI cluster, complementing its cloud strategy and allowing for faster model training and shorter development times across various sports and markets. This will give Veo full control over its AI platform, crucial for real-time analysis and automation in the industry. The infrastructure is powered by green energy and utilizes waste heat for the Danish district heating network.
