Verde Hydrogen Develops Scalable Skid-Mounted Platform for Alkali Electrolyzers

Verde Hydrogen has developed a flexible and scalable platform concept for its alkaline electrolyzers, featuring skid-mounted assembly. Unlike small PEM electrolyzers that typically use container modular designs, Verde Hydrogen is implementing a reverse approach for large alkaline systems.

The company has decoupled the stacks from balance-of-plant components, enabling three configurations: container solutions for quick outdoor deployment, hybrid skid-mounted systems, and fully integrated systems for building applications. The prefabricated skids standardize complex subsystems such as gas-liquid separation and purification units, while maintaining scalability. This approach reduces onsite construction times and significantly lowers engineering complexity, applicable to projects ranging from 5 MW to over 100 MW, while ensuring operational reliability in harsh environments.
