Vertiv CEO Confirms Rapid Growth in Liquid Cooling Capacity Amid AI Demand
Vertiv CEO Giordano Albertazzi stated that the company is rapidly expanding liquid cooling capacity to meet the demands generated by AI infrastructure, particularly from Nvidia. The Q4 2025 results showed a 252% year-over-year increase in organic orders, with a backlog of $15 billion. Full-year 2026 guidance estimates net sales between $13.25 billion and $13.75 billion. Vertiv is increasing capital expenditures to support growth and has made strategic acquisitions, including PerchRight, to enhance liquid cooling capabilities.

Vertiv's CEO Giordano Albertazzi confirmed that the company is significantly expanding its liquid cooling capacity to address the rising demands from AI infrastructure, especially from Nvidia. During the Q4 2025 earnings call, he highlighted that organic orders surged 252% year-over-year, leading to a backlog of $15 billion, a 109% increase.
For 2026, Vertiv projects net sales of $13.25 billion to $13.75 billion. To support this growth, Vertiv plans to increase capital expenditures to 3-4% of sales and has made strategic acquisitions, including PerchRight, to improve fluid management in liquid-cooled data centers.
