VESSL AI and Rebellions Collaborate on South Korea's Domestic NPU Cloud Infrastructure
VESSL AI and Rebellions have signed a memorandum of understanding to develop cloud infrastructure using domestic neural processing units (NPUs). The collaboration aims to create a competitive AI infrastructure model for robotics and smart manufacturing, focusing on deployment in Korea's public sector and international markets, including the Middle East and Southeast Asia. The initiative seeks to reduce reliance on foreign technology by integrating Korean semiconductor hardware with AI infrastructure software.

VESSL AI and Rebellions are collaborating to build cloud infrastructure based on domestic neural processing units (NPUs) in South Korea. The partnership will focus on robotics and industrial computing, targeting the public sector and overseas markets.
VESSL AI will provide an orchestration platform, while Rebellions will supply optimized NPU hardware. The companies plan to validate infrastructure stability and establish proof-of-concept deployments in regions like Jeonbuk Province.
They aim to demonstrate that domestic AI infrastructure can compete globally, especially in emerging markets in the Middle East and Southeast Asia. This initiative reflects a broader effort to develop sovereign AI capabilities in Korea.
