Vietnam and Norway Strengthen Cooperation Towards Green Transition and Circular Economy
Vietnam emphasizes the importance of enhancing multifaceted cooperation with Norway, particularly in green transition and circular economy development. During a meeting with Norwegian Minister Åsmund Aukrust, Vietnam's Foreign Minister Lê Hoài Trung proposed boosting political trust and collaboration in areas such as investment, agriculture, sustainable fisheries, climate change adaptation, and education. Both parties expressed satisfaction with progress towards establishing a Vietnam-Norway Green Strategic Partnership and discussed a potential free trade agreement with EFTA member states.
