Vietnam's Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung signed Decision No. 367/QD-TTg to establish a national AI development fund for 2026-2027. The plan includes building a National AI Database at the National Data Center, with the Ministry of Science and Technology overseeing AI data standards and the Ministry of Public Security managing infrastructure and data security.

AI clusters will be developed in high-tech parks and innovation centers. The Law on AI, approved in December, takes effect on March 1, comprising 35 articles aimed at balancing risk control and innovation promotion.
