VINCI Secures €192 Million Contract for Prague Wastewater Treatment Plant Upgrade
VINCI Construction has been awarded a €192 million contract to upgrade Prague's central wastewater treatment facility. The project, set to start in October 2026, includes extensive renovations aimed at enhancing water treatment quality and energy efficiency.

A consortium led by VINCI Construction will oversee the €192 million upgrade of Prague's wastewater treatment plant, which has been operational for over 50 years. The project entails dismantling existing structures, demolishing, and rebuilding 40 facilities, with a completion timeline of 43 months.
Key improvements include the reconstruction of eight settling tanks and the refurbishment of four others, alongside the installation of new water treatment technologies. Environmental measures will involve material reuse and the use of rainwater and recycled water during construction. This upgrade is crucial for modernizing essential water management infrastructure in Prague.
