Virtium Launches First OCP S.A.F.E.-Certified M.2 NVMe Boot SSD, StorFly-HS
Virtium has introduced the StorFly-HS, the first M.2 NVMe Boot SSD certified by the Open Compute Project for OCP S.A.F.E. compliance. This industrial SSD supports temperatures from -40°C to +85°C and features NVMe-MI compliance for manageability. With a minimum availability of 5 years and a focus on AI networking and data center environments, it offers enhanced security and reliability compared to standard boot SSDs.

Virtium has launched the StorFly-HS, an M.2 NVMe Boot SSD certified by the Open Compute Project under OCP S.A.F.E. standards. This is the first boot SSD to achieve OCP S.A.F.E. certification, providing enhanced security, enterprise-class protection, and management tailored for AI networking and data center compute platforms.
The StorFly-HS operates in extreme temperatures from -40°C to +85°C, complies with NVMe-MI 1.2 for manageability, and ensures long-term reliability with over 5 years of availability. It is designed for reduced integration risk and faster deployment in compliant environments.
