VisionWave and Boca Jom Near Completion of AstraDRC™ POC for AI Microchip Design Automation
VisionWave and Boca Jom, Ltd. are nearing completion of the AstraDRC™ proof-of-concept, an automated platform designed to correct DRC violations in semiconductor design. Targeting major AI microchip corporations, AstraDRC™ aims to enhance layout efficiency and reduce design cycle times for advanced-node designs while ensuring compliance with manufacturing standards. This initiative aligns with VisionWave's strategy to develop application-specific AI microchips for improved performance in defense and civil applications.

VisionWave and Boca Jom, Ltd. are finalizing a proof-of-concept (POC) for AstraDRC™, an automated DRC violation correction platform for semiconductor design. The POC will be demonstrated to a major AI microchip corporation.
AstraDRC™ automates the correction of IC design rule violations, aiming to reduce design cycle times and enhance layout efficiency while supporting advanced-node designs such as 5nm and 3nm. It incorporates the qSpeed™ core accelerator to process complex designs efficiently.
The system is designed to maintain electrical connectivity and adhere to manufacturing requirements while improving silicon utilization. VisionWave's broader strategy includes the development of application-specific AI microchips, enhancing performance and reliability for defense and civil applications. AstraDRC™ is positioned to advance semiconductor design productivity and support the evolution of global computing and AI infrastructure.
