Vital Lyfe completed a field demonstration of its decentralized desalination system on Tierra Bomba, Colombia, in partnership with NGO Amigos Del Mar. The system produced treated water suitable for consumption using local seawater, with no external water inputs.

Around 40 families observed the operation, highlighting the system's potential to alleviate reliance on expensive and inconsistent boat-delivered water. The demonstration provided data on performance and usability in real-world conditions, aiming to explore how such technologies can enhance resilience in coastal communities facing infrastructure challenges.
