Vitex LLC launched its 800G and 1.6T Optical Transceiver and Cable Portfolio for AI data centers, featuring the 800G OSFP DR8 transceiver with a 500-meter reach over single-mode fiber. The portfolio includes various optical transceivers, active optical cables, and passive direct attach cables, all available in four to seven weeks.

The 800G DR8 supports breakout configurations and includes low power variants. Additionally, 1.6T OSFP224 transceivers and a range of cable options provide flexibility for data center architectures. This offering addresses the industry's need for shorter lead times in high-performance optics.
