Volatus Aerospace Inc. has signed a contract with an offshore wind power company to develop heavy-lift drone delivery operations for cargo transfers to wind turbine nacelles. The drones will carry payloads of up to 100 kg (220 lbs) from vessels directly to offshore structures, aiming to improve maintenance efficiency and reduce reliance on manual methods.

Volatus will manage mission planning, regulatory compliance, and flight operations from its Operations Control Center, ensuring adherence to safety protocols. The agreement is part of Volatus' strategy to commercialize offshore cargo drone delivery services.
