Volta Metals Reports Significant Carbonatite Mineralization at Springer REE Deposit
Volta Metals has identified 688 meters of continuous carbonatite mineralization at the Springer Rare Earth Element Deposit in Ontario. This extensive intercept is a key indicator of the deposit's potential for rare earth elements and critical minerals, positioning it among the largest REE deposits in North America.

Volta Metals Ltd. has announced the discovery of 688 meters of continuous carbonatite mineralization from drill hole SL26-35 at the Springer Rare Earth Element Deposit, Ontario. This drill hole, part of a 5,415-meter winter program, is the deepest completed to date, with results expected in Q2 2026.
The updated Mineral Resource Estimate indicates 176 million tonnes of rare earth mineralization, significantly increasing previous estimates. The project is strategically located with access to infrastructure and is situated within Nipissing First Nations territory. The results may enhance interest in the deposit, although mineral resources are not equivalent to reserves and require further validation for economic viability.
