Voltalia Reports 16% Increase in 2025 Turnover Amid Higher Curtailment Impact in Brazil
Voltalia announced a 2025 turnover of 587.8 million euros, up 16% at constant exchange rates, driven primarily by a 70% increase in Services for third-party clients. The company's Energy Sales declined 8% to 315.8 million euros, affected by a 15% decrease in Q4 turnover due to higher-than-expected curtailment in Brazil, which accounted for 23% of total production.
Despite this, EBITDA is targeted between 200 million and 220 million euros. The company achieved a capacity of 3.6 gigawatts, a 9% increase, with 2.9 gigawatts operational. The SPRING transformation plan is underway, involving divestments in five countries and discontinuation of biomass and small hydro projects.
A law in Brazil is expected to reimburse Voltalia over 20 million euros related to past curtailments. The company aims for a 35% reduction in carbon intensity by 2030.
