Vulcan Infrastructure Secures $39.4M Investment, Shifts Focus to AI and Power Infrastructure
Vulcan Infrastructure and Power Inc. has secured a $39.4 million investment to enhance its transition from bitcoin mining to AI-focused power infrastructure. This strategic shift addresses the rising demand for reliable electricity in AI and high-performance computing sectors.

Vulcan Infrastructure and Power Inc., formerly Greenidge Generation Holdings, has obtained $39.4 million in strategic financing from Machine Investment Group, Atlas Holdings, and Conversant Capital, among others. The investment comprises $29.4 million in Class A common stock priced at $1.71 per share and $10 million in secured convertible notes, convertible at $2.13 per share.
Vulcan aims to commercialize over 100 MW of AI-ready capacity and has a 654 MW development pipeline. The transaction is subject to shareholder approval and Nasdaq compliance.
