WAB Showcases 'Made in Germany' at WindEurope Annual Event 2026
The German Pavilion will feature 24 exhibitors promoting wind energy solutions in Madrid from April 21-23, 2026. WindEurope forecasts significant growth in wind capacity, with 151 GW expected by 2030, highlighting the industry's momentum amid global challenges.

The German Wind Industry and Hydrogen Association (WAB) will present the 'German Pavilion' at WindEurope Annual Event 2026 in Madrid from April 21-23, 2026, featuring 24 exhibitors, setting a new record for participation. WindEurope anticipates over 16,000 attendees and more than 600 exhibitors, accompanied by a comprehensive conference program.
In 2022, Europe installed 19.1 GW of new wind capacity, with 5.7 GW from Germany, accounting for 30% of the total. The total wind capacity in Europe now stands at 304 GW, with forecasts of an additional 151 GW by 2030. Delegations from the UK, Canada, and India are expected to visit the pavilion, which will also host expert discussions on renewable energy challenges.
