Washington State Develops Technical Assistance Program for Green Hydrogen Users
The Washington State Department of Commerce is launching a technical assistance program aimed at strategic users of green electrolytic hydrogen and hydrogen-derived fuels. The program, which seeks input from industry stakeholders and potential users, will be funded through the 2025-27 state operating budget and is expected to be available until June 30, 2027.

The Washington State Department of Commerce Office of Renewable Fuels is creating a technical assistance program for strategic end users of green electrolytic hydrogen and hydrogen-derived fuels. Input is being sought from the hydrogen industry, potential users, and technical assistance vendors to shape the program. Funding for this initiative is expected to be available through June 30, 2027, backed by the 2025-27 state operating budget.
