The Aveley water pipe replacement project by Essex & Suffolk Water involves replacing 5km of aging pipes with modern plastic alternatives to enhance the local water network. Scheduled to last almost a year, the project will conclude in May 2027, with several phases of work resulting in road closures.
Key dates include Romford Road and surrounding areas from June to early September 2026, followed by Shannon Way and adjacent roads until late December 2026, and concluding with work on additional streets from January to April 2027. Traffic management will be implemented, and property access will be maintained throughout.
