ENERGY STORAGE

Watt Connect, a Paris-based company, proposed to install stationary electricity storage solutions in public spaces in La Ciotat on October 23. The system aims to store surplus electricity for reuse during peak consumption.

The city issued a call for expressions of interest on November 10, which closed on November 26. The municipal council approved the project, which includes the installation of batteries with capacities of 250 kW and 2.5 MW across 12 potential locations in La Ciotat, including the Théâtre de la Chaudronnerie and the municipal swimming pool.
