WBGEDCL has invited four e-tenders for 3.5 MW of grid-tied rooftop solar photovoltaic power plants with integrated battery energy storage in West Bengal, under the RIDF-XXXI initiative. The tenders include a 1 MWp plant with a 2 MWh battery at Haringhata Layer Farm (₹11.37 crore), two 1 MWp plants with 1.8 MWh batteries at Malda and Mekhliganj Layer Farms (₹11.06 crore each), and a 0.5 MWp plant with a 0.7 MWh battery at Saltora Layer Farm (₹6.14 crore).

Bidder eligibility requires operational experience in West Bengal and completion of similar projects. The tender process begins on February 6, 2026, with bid submissions from February 12 to February 27, 2026.
