Welsh Parliament Member Supports £20,000 Repair Café Fund for North Wales
Sam Rowlands, a member of the Welsh Parliament representing North Wales, is supporting the Repair Café Support Fund, a grant initiative by Enfinium, which operates the Parc Adfer energy recovery facility in Deeside. This year, the fund offers £20,000 to community repair projects in North Wales.
The Repair Café Support Fund, now in its third year, has distributed over £35,000 to 22 Repair Cafés since March 2024, aiding both new and existing cafés in their operations. The funding is aimed at reducing landfill waste and promoting a circular economy by encouraging repair over disposal. Eligible Repair Cafés within 30 miles of Enfinium's facilities, including those in Flintshire, Conwy, Denbighshire, Gwynedd, and Anglesey, can apply for the 2026 funding round until May 31, 2026.
