West Cobar Metals (ASX:WC1) has applied for two exploration licences, ELA7009 and ELA7010, covering 573 square kilometres in the Cobar district of New South Wales. This expands the company's tenement and application areas to approximately 1,090 square kilometres. The managing director highlighted the prospectivity for copper, antimony, silver, and gold in the new licence areas, supported by historical geochemistry and geophysical surveys indicating potential mineralisation. Plans for ground surveys and sampling are set for early completion once the tenements are granted.
