Whitecap Underwriting Europe s.r.o. will launch its space underwriting capacity on January 1, 2026, through its Whitecap Aerospace division, utilizing an A-rated insurer and deploying up to $8 million for various space-related risks. Tim Wright will lead the underwriting efforts, focusing on establishing a new insurance class, while David Godley expressed confidence in achieving profitable outcomes amid the expanding commercial space sector.

Whitecap Underwriting Europe s.r.o. will begin its space underwriting capacity on January 1, 2026, through its division Whitecap Aerospace. The operation will utilize an A-rated insurer and deploy up to $8 million for launch, commissioning, and in-orbit satellite risks.
Tim Wright will lead the underwriting efforts, supported by David Godley and Mike Hart. Wright's role includes leveraging his market expertise to establish a new insurance class for Whitecap.
