Wild Ventures and Global Prime Partners Lead Investment in SaxaVord Spaceport
SaxaVord Spaceport's ownership is dominated by two firms: Wild Ventures Ltd with nearly 60% and Global Prime Partners Ltd with over 20%. The company, which recently expanded its shareholder base from 147 to 161, is preparing for its official opening and the UK's first vertical satellite launch later this year. Notable shareholders include the late Frank Strang's estate with over 4%. The spaceport has also made key senior appointments to support its launch operations.

Over 80% of SaxaVord Spaceport shares are owned by Wild Ventures Ltd and Global Prime Partners Ltd. Wild Ventures, majority holder with nearly 60%, has increased its stake since becoming a minority investor in 2020.
Global Prime Partners, a wealth management firm, holds just over 20%. The shareholder count has grown from 147 to 161, including Frank Strang's estate, which owns over 4%. The spaceport is set to officially open in May 2024 and aims for the UK's first vertical satellite launch later this year, supported by new senior management hires.
