Construction has begun on a manufacturing facility by Williams International at the Shoal River Industrial Park in Okaloosa County, Florida. The facility, which specializes in high-volume aviation gas turbine engines, represents a $1 billion investment.

It is expected to create over 300 high-paying jobs and will be developed in three phases. The project has received extensive support from federal, state, and local partnerships over several years.
