Wind Harvest International and Kamaka Global signed a Memorandum of Understanding to advance renewable energy projects on Native American reservations. The partnership emphasizes tribal ownership and economic sovereignty, targeting projects eligible for a 50% federal Investment Tax Credit if construction starts by mid-2026.
Wind Harvest will provide vertical-axis wind turbines, while Kamaka Global will handle project development and tribal engagement. Phase 1 of the initiative involves installing 1-2 MW systems, combining solar, wind, and battery storage, aimed for commissioning in 2027.
This phase will collect operational data to inform future project expansions, including a full build-out of 1,000-2,000 turbines, potentially attracting AI or data-center clients. Development activities are planned throughout 2026.
