Winda Energy is set to construct a 100MW data center in Janakkala, Finland, with an investment of €500 million ($584 million). The facility will occupy a 22-hectare site in the MORE-Rastikangas industrial zone, with construction expected to start in 2027 and the first phase to be completed by 2028.
The project covers an area of approximately 112,110 sqm (1.1 million sq ft) and is a collaboration with Gi21 Capital. This initiative is significant for Janakkala, potentially enhancing the municipality's economic vitality and attractiveness for future investments amid challenging market conditions.
