Winstar Capital to Expand Manufacturing Capacity with New Plant by 2027
Winstar Capital Bhd plans to develop a new manufacturing plant by 2027, aiming to more than double its production capacity. The expansion is in response to full utilization of current operations and rising demand in the construction sector for aluminium extrusion products. Winstar will also diversify its product offerings to include solar PV-related components, capitalizing on government initiatives for solar adoption. The company has a 3.5% market share in Malaysia's aluminium extrusion market and reported a core net profit of RM10.3 million in 2025, with projected profits of RM12.3 million and RM16.1 million in 2026 and 2027, respectively.

Winstar Capital Bhd is set to expand its manufacturing capacity with a new plant expected to be completed in 2027, which will double its existing capacity. The move addresses full utilization of current operations and aims to meet growing demand for aluminium extrusion products in the construction sector.
Winstar also plans to include solar PV-related components in its offerings, aligning with government initiatives under the National Energy Transition Roadmap. Currently, Winstar holds a 3.5% share of Malaysia's aluminium extrusion market, with a reported revenue of RM120.8 million in 2024 and a core net profit of RM10.3 million in 2025. Projections indicate profits of RM12.3 million in 2026 and RM16.1 million in 2027, supported by new capacity and strong infrastructure investment demand.
