Wisconsin Regulators Approve Dawn Harvest Solar and Battery Project for We Energies Customers
The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has approved the Dawn Harvest Solar and Battery Energy Storage Facility, adding 150 MW of solar energy and 50 MW of battery storage to the power grid, sufficient to power over 45,000 homes. We Energies will lead the project, with Wisconsin Public Service and Madison Gas and Electric as co-owners. The project aims to enhance energy reliability and reduce costs through federal tax credits.

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin has approved the Dawn Harvest Solar and Battery Energy Storage Facility in Rock County. The facility will provide 150 MW of solar energy and 50 MW of battery storage, enough to power more than 45,000 homes.
We Energies will be the majority owner, with Wisconsin Public Service and Madison Gas and Electric as co-owners. Developed by Invenergy, the project is expected to reduce fuel costs and utilize federal tax credits, contributing to energy cost savings for customers.
