A transformer explosion at a Vantage data center in San Antonio, Texas, injured one construction worker critically on February 27. Emergency services, including the San Antonio Police and Fire Departments, responded around 10:19 PM.
The explosion occurred near a transformer located next to a gas tank. The injured worker was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening burns. Evacuations were carried out on-site. Vantage is developing multiple projects in San Antonio, including locations along Wiseman Blvd.
