Wrangell Economic Development Board Recommends Land Lease for Data Center

Wrangell's economic development board voted 5-0 on January 5 to recommend the assembly proceed with a land lease for one or two acres at the former 6-Mile Mill property for a California-based company to build a small-scale data center, pending consideration of issues such as water discharge, noise and light pollution, and sales tax revenue.
