Wärtsilä reported record operating results and cash flow for 2025, with total net sales rising 7% to €6.9 billion. The company plans a 35% expansion of its Sustainable Technology Hub in Vaasa, Finland, driven by increasing demand in the Marine and Energy sectors, especially in data centers.

The expansion will cost approximately €140 million and is expected to be operational in Q1 2028. Wärtsilä experienced a 12% increase in combined marine and energy net sales, with order intake rising 17% to €6.8 billion.

Despite positive performance, the company cautioned that geopolitical uncertainties could affect investment decisions. Additionally, Wärtsilä is streamlining its portfolio through divestments.
