Waste to Energy Advanced Solutions (WtEnergy) has secured €10 million in funding to enhance its waste-to-energy technologies. The investment round was led by SC Net Zero Ventures, with participation from Shell Ventures and Cemex Ventures.

WtEnergy plans to utilize the funds for ongoing project execution, technological standardization, and European expansion. Founded in 2017, the company focuses on converting industrial waste and biomass into syngas, a renewable gas that can replace fossil fuels in energy-intensive processes. This funding supports WtEnergy's growth and its aim to provide competitive renewable energy solutions, aligning with decarbonization goals in the industrial sector.
