Wudongde and Three Gorges Reservoirs Report Decrease in Incoming Water Volume for 2025
In 2025, the Wudongde Reservoir experienced a 6.44% decrease in incoming water volume, totaling approximately 105.135 billion cubic meters, while the Three Gorges Reservoir reported a 3.82% decline to about 396.268 billion cubic meters. Despite this reduction in water inflow, the gross electricity generation from domestic cascade hydropower projects increased by 3.82% year-on-year, reaching approximately 307.194 billion kWh, with a notable 19.93% rise in Q4 alone.
