Yamna Expands into Green Data Centres in Oman
Yamna's expansion into green data centres positions Oman as a potential hub for green energy and digital infrastructure. The company's involvement in a giga-scale green hydrogen project in Dhofar is key to this strategy.

Yamna, a UK-based green energy developer, is expanding into green data centres, enhancing Oman's potential as a dual hub for green energy and digital infrastructure. The company is part of a consortium awarded a concession in April 2024 to develop a large-scale green hydrogen project in Oman's Dhofar Governorate, with a capacity to produce 1 million tonnes of green ammonia annually.
This initiative will leverage 4.5 GW of renewable energy capacity, including wind and solar. Yamna's integrated power-and-data campuses aim to support AI-driven computing workloads while offering reliable green power solutions. The move may attract further foreign investment and bolster Oman's economic diversification efforts.
