The Oriental Spaceport in Haiyang, Yantai, has completed 25 offshore launches, deploying 155 satellites for various applications. Opened in July 2023, the Space Science Museum enhances visitor engagement with VR and AR technologies, attracting around 100,000 visitors annually.
Launch-viewing events have welcomed over 200,000 attendees, positively impacting local hospitality sectors. A six-kilometer Space Avenue connects manufacturing and launch facilities, enabling rapid deployment of rockets.
The site also hosts China's first liquid-fuel rocket offshore test platform, facilitating advanced rocket testing. This fusion of high-tech industry and tourism exemplifies the economic value of integrating culture with manufacturing.
