Yaskawa Leadership Restructuring in Europe for Digital Transformation
Yaskawa has restructured its leadership in Europe, appointing Pär Tornemo as President & CEO for EMEA and Jörg Rommelfanger for the DACH region's robotics sector. Yaskawa has initiated a leadership restructuring at its European headquarters to align with digital transformation efforts. Pär Tornemo is now the President & CEO for Yaskawa EMEA, with a focus on AI-driven automation.
Jörg Rommelfanger has been appointed as President for the DACH region, effective August 2025, overseeing Germany, Austria, and Switzerland's robotics sector. The company aims to strengthen customer engagement and partnerships across logistics and pharmaceuticals, while Bobbie Linkenbach remains as Senior Vice President of Drives & Motion Controls to ensure continuity. This restructuring underscores Yaskawa's strategy to meet changing market needs, which may influence competitive positioning in the automation sector.
