Yguazú Plans to Become Paraguay's Technological and Industrial Hub with 3,000 Direct Jobs by 2026
Yguazú's municipality unveiled the 'Yguazú del Futuro' plan, targeting 3,000 direct jobs and 15,000 indirect jobs through six major industrial investments by 2026. The initiative includes an investment of USD 2.03 billion, focusing on green energy, hydrogen, and ammonia production, with companies like Go Energy Group and Atome Energy involved. Additional projects include a technology hub with Hive Digital and a new data center. Existing companies like Acereste and Ovetril Bioenergía will also operate in the area.

The municipality of Yguazú, Alto Paraná, announced the 'Yguazú del Futuro' plan, which aims to establish the region as a technological and industrial hub by 2026. The initiative is expected to create 3,000 direct jobs and 15,000 indirect jobs, with a total projected investment of USD 2.03 billion.
Key companies such as Go Energy Group and Atome Energy will focus on green hydrogen and ammonia production. Go Energy has acquired 250 hectares for operations starting in early 2027, requiring 1,000 workers.
Other projects include a technology hub with Hive Digital and a data center. Existing investments from Acereste and Ovetril Bioenergía are also planned, with Acereste set to produce metals and Ovetril focusing on ethanol production.
