Yondr Group Sells Majority Stake in UK Data Center to GLIL Infrastructure
Yondr Group has entered an agreement to sell a majority interest in its UK data center to GLIL Infrastructure while retaining a minority share and operational control. This deal underlines the growing importance of digital infrastructure in meeting the demand for cloud services and AI in the UK.

Yondr Group is selling a majority stake in its Slough, England data center campus to GLIL Infrastructure LLP, while maintaining a minority interest and operational management of the facility post-sale. The transaction involves two operational hyperscale data center buildings and reinforces GLIL's strategy in expanding its digital infrastructure investments, which also includes Cornerstone, a leading UK mobile tower company. This investment is significant as it highlights the critical role of hyperscale data centers in the UK’s economy, particularly in supporting cloud services and artificial intelligence demands.
