Yongin City to Subsidize 4,440 Eco-Friendly Vehicles Including Hydrogen and Electric Cars
Yongin Special City will provide subsidies for 4,440 eco-friendly vehicles in 2025, including 126 hydrogen cars and 4,314 electric vehicles, to promote carbon neutrality and improve air quality. Applications start on February 2.
Subsidies include 32.5 million won for each Hyundai All New Nexo hydrogen vehicle and 346.4 million won for high-floor hydrogen buses. Electric vehicle support includes 4,000 passenger cars and 304 cargo vehicles, with half of the allocation for the first half of the year.
Subsidies range from 9.28 million won for passenger cars to 1.1555 billion won for school buses. Additional benefits include up to 3 million won for multi-child families and 20% more for young first-time buyers. Additional subsidies will be available for taxi drivers, small business owners, and farmers, plus a new 1.3 million won subsidy for individuals converting from internal combustion vehicles.
