Permanent Secretary Lillian Bwalya emphasized the importance of leveraging the countries' natural resources, with Zambia's copper and agricultural wealth complementing Uganda's oil production.
The establishment of the Joint Trade Committee aims to address trade barriers and enhance business cooperation. Uganda's High Commissioner Fred Mwesigye underscored the need for joint ventures and technology transfer.
Enhanced air connectivity between Uganda Airlines and Zambia Airways is anticipated to boost the aviation sector, contributing to regional economic integration. These collaborations are essential for unlocking trade and investment flows.
