ZCCM Investments has initiated a $361 million project to enter the phosphate mining and fertilizer manufacturing sector, marking a strategic shift from its traditional focus on copper. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance agricultural productivity and support industrialization in Zambia. The project will be carried out through a special purpose vehicle named Sino Great Chemicals Limited, formed in partnership with ZCCM-IH.
