ZESCO Signs $250 Million Agreement for 100 MW Solar-Wind Hybrid Project in Zambia
ZESCO Limited has signed a Power Purchase Agreement with DZGM Energy Resources for a $250 million solar-wind hybrid project in Zambia. The 100 MW project will be developed in six months, with power dedicated to public health facilities in the Copperbelt region. Energy Minister Makozo Chikote highlighted the investment as a step towards diversifying Zambia's energy mix and enhancing energy security.
