Zhongfu Shenying Launches World's Strongest Mass-Produced Carbon Fiber, SYT80
Zhongfu Shenying, a subsidiary of China National Building Material Group, launched SYT80, the world's strongest mass-produced carbon fiber, achieving 100-ton level production. The fiber has an engineering tensile strength exceeding 8,000 MPa and is ten times stronger than steel while being lighter. It aims to enhance the performance of domestic aircraft, improve aerospace efficiency, and support industries like hydrogen energy and new energy vehicles.

Zhongfu Shenying Carbon Fiber, part of China National Building Material Group, introduced SYT80, an ultra-high strength carbon fiber, which has achieved 100-ton level mass production. With an engineering tensile strength over 8,000 MPa, SYT80 is ten times stronger than ordinary steel and has a diameter one-tenth that of a human hair.
Its properties include high-temperature, corrosion, and fatigue resistance. The material is expected to improve the safety and efficiency of large aircraft, support hydrogen energy solutions, and enhance performance in various industries. CNBM plans to expand production at its facilities in Xining and Lianyungang.
